The Villa, La Filanda, is a former silk factory, pieds dans l'eau on the western shore of Lake Como. It is located in Brienno, a small village of Celtic origin. It is an ancient silk spinning mill dating back to the 17th century, beautifully and carefully renovated and transformed into a modern and welcoming place.
The particular design of La Filanda is based on stone walls, vaulted ceilings and a succession of windows that offer a spectacular view of the lake. The property is spread over three floors for over 700m2. On the ground floor we find a large kitchen, dining room, double large living room, large tavern with wood-burning fireplace.
