History of this magnificent property :
The villa was built in 1893 by British architect George King and designed by Tersling. A tall villa dominated by a turret overlooking the sea, it was named after his wife.
The house was often rented out by its owner to prestigious guests such as Joseph Pulitzer (owner of the New York World), Prince Henry de Pless and the Duchess of Westminster, who stayed for several seasons. In 1912, the villa was acquired by Ernesta Stern, already owner of the adjoining Torre Clementina, who divided her time between her two Côte d'Azur residences and her Venetian palace, whose restoration she had just completed. In the early 1930s, the building was acquired by Countess Naddège de Louvencourt, who kept it until the Second World War, before dividing it into apartments in the 1970s.
