This modern port town, with 3,000 inhabitants, has gone from being a former fishermen's refuge to being one of the most important and visited tourist centers in Mallorca, thanks to its nautical activity, which is conducive to very exclusive residential tourism. El Puerto is a cosmopolitan and lively place, where many cultures mix and shopping, sun and nightlife are combined. It also offers an infinity of activities related to the sea. However, it has one of the best equipped marinas on the Islands, the Puerto de Andrach Sailing Club, with about 500 berths occupied by sports and pleasure boats. Shops and restaurants with pleasant terraces overlooking the sea overlook the promenade, which leads to the lighthouse and the Club de Vela, passing through the small torrent des Saluet. The Port of Andrach has a select hotel infrastructure and also some of the most renowned establishments in the island's gastronomic offer. In the afternoon, it becomes one of the liveliest areas of the municipality. From the port it is possible to go to sa Mola, from where you can admire a splendid sunset and the open sea with the island of Dragonera.
